Anyway, I had a few idea's which could help this server immensly, not just in Lag improvement and downtime improvement, but in gameplay aswell.
Firstly, you won't like this one much, but I feel it will have great benefits:
- Have a map restart.
Having a map restart will help reduce lag because, well its way to big... At 1.4gb save file, we are taking up too much space which could be leading to the plugins failing.
Secondly, remove the nether.
WHO THE FUCK NEEDS THE NETHER!!!
- Noob: I love the nether! Netherrack is so lovely
- Me: Then just but it from the cheap shop i'll make noob
- Noob: But i'm poor!
- Me: Make some money then noob... Jeez... It's not exactly expensive buying Glowstone and NEtherrack from the ADMIN SHOP I will make to relieve the fact that the items will become unnattainable.
Thirdly, Remove the whole "Protected plots in town" thing.
These protected plots in town in my opinion are stupid and actually ruin the game. I think we should have an Admin shop and that is it. That way you can all trade amongst eachother BUT there will still be the hunter-gatherer thing about the game.
Fourthly, Give factions more involvement OR have Towny.
If we have factions, we can make easy little groups from as soon as people join the server, which would be nice. But you can't make good buildings as such and stuff with Factions.
If we had towny, it would cost IN GAME MONEY to create a town (and would be quite a bit) and you would have to pay a daily tax on the town, but you could get residents that would pay you tax, and you can build a big city and have lots of little people paying you

Fithly, Have a Map Limit.
Yes... A Limit on how far you can walk... Maybe like a 2k Radius? So you can walk from like -2k - 2k. 4k blocks is alright yea? This would reduce lag and make finding people slightly easier.
Sixthly, Have protected chests.
If we remove the main town where you buy plots (Which I am strongly towards), we could have an LWC chest protection system where you can protect a maximum of 3 chests, that cost a little bit of money for each one (Not much, not as much as a town plot). This would allow you to protect your best items, but not enough so if you got raided, the raider would leave empty handed.
They are my ideas and if i think of any more, i will leave them in a reply below.
